Alliance Party? edit

I have removed the link to the "Alliance Party" in the section regarding his role in Lord Denning's 1969 decision regarding the Fiji sugar industry. I could not find anything which would tell me which Alliance Party this is referring to. If somebody does know this, please make it a link directly to the correct page. Category: Australian Roman Catholic edit

Valenciano removed the category "Australian Roman Catholics" on the ground that simply being catholic is not enough for inclusion. I can understand that but have restored the category, with a promise of new info. I have now added a ref discussing Brennan's catholic background and commitment to social justice. That does not wholly address Valenciano's point. However, I am bearing in mind the extent to which Brennan's catholic commitment to social justice (one way of being catholic and common in Australia) shows in some of his judgments - particularly Mabo - although, in giving judgment, he could not identify his views as catholic. This may seem a bit OR for non-Australians, but I think that within Australia it is akin to taking "judicial notice". Anyway, this is only about a categorisation. --Wikiain (talk) 04:16, 3 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Plagiarism edit

A huge amount of the article appears to be copy and pasted from http://www.hcourt.gov.au/assets/justices/coper_hca1_brennan.pdf . I'm not terribly familiar with the policy and copyright issues around this, but it doesn't seem to be properly attributed? AllenY99 (talk) 05:07, 27 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
