Since Ford didn't grow up in the city and had no true association with it, you can't blame the city for not wanting to spend money on his birthplace site. It doesn't have much meaning, compared with recognizing people who lived here or grew up here.--Parkwells (talk) 16:06, 26 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Too many gory details are given about Ford and his mother's miserable early life. This article is supposed to be about the site and gardens - there is already a full article about his life. I don't think such detailed material is appropriate here, especially when there is little to describe what the foundation is trying to do with the gardens.
