Status edit

Does Retired refer to his status in the astronaut corps? He's working for spacex now in a very non-retired role...

Under the sea edit

According to the NASA biography, as a crewmember for NEEMO (whatever number, I'm not familiar with it) he lived under the sea for two weeks. Now he'll be aboard the ISS from now, in March 2008, until the mission he's scheduled to come home on, currently scheduled for May 2008.

Has anyone else lived under the sea and in space for a comparable length of time? This guy's been at interesting distances from sea level.38.115.7.2 (talk) 11:57, 14 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yeh, someone should work out if that's some kind of record. "Most extreme distances travelled to or from the center of the planet". Or something less wordy. --86.135.182.174 (talk) 17:48, 9 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
It's not a record. Mercury astronaut Scott Carpenter spent a month down in Sealab II back in 1965. - Dravecky (talk) 00:38, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

As far as I can tell he is now abord ISS. Should his page not be updated? I'm not informed enough to be confident of that info, but the other wikipedia articles on sts123 expedition 16 and Jules Verne ATV suggest hi is presently in flight. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.174.227.99 (talk) 15:41, 5 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Self-proclaimed edit

The article say he is a self-proclaimed member of the "Colbert Universe". Technically he was a member of the Colbert Nation (which is a non-geographical term to start with), Then while on the Colbert Report he proposed the Colbert Universe to Mr. Colbert who sanctioned the idea. When it comes to the Colbert Nation/Universe there is only one unelected leader for life. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.202.187.244 (talk) 06:43, 16 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
