Make a reverting move Gare de Granville (Manche)Granville station (Manche) – and similarly 51 other pages about French railway stations, and their talk pages, listed here, that User:Captain scarlet moved. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 14:44, 2 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

There appear to be two conclusions from this discussion.

  1. The old 'Gare de ..' style of naming is not wanted.
  2. There is disagreement over whether to use a suffix of 'station' or 'railway station'

Therefore (1) I will reinstate my request to the admins to reverse the moves made by Captain scarlet, and (2) I propose that further discussion on the naming ('station' v. 'railway station') should take place at Wikipedia_talk:Manual_of_Style/France_and_French-related_articles#Naming_of_French_railway_station_articles.
