Fair use rationale for Image:Gungajamuna.jpg
editImage:Gungajamuna.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Gunga Jumna → Ganga Jamna – "Ganga Jamna" is the more accurate transliteration of the title. "Gunga Jumna" is not an accurate transliteration. There doesn't appear to be an official English title, so it's best to go with an accurate transliteration of the original title. - Strong Oppose The official transliteration of the title is "Gunga Jumna" and it was just a Google search away, @Maestro2016 seems to have not checked properly. IMDB is also located at Gunga Jumna for same reasons. Both are acceptable transliterations, and we should use the official one, i.e. Gunga Jumna as the article title. Maestro, please withdraw your proposal. Venkat TL (talk) 19:29, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose "Jumna" has been the time-honored spelling of the river in English, (see for example, File:GangesCanal2.jpg. More importantly, it is also the pronunciation of the river's name in the vernaculars (cousins of Hindi) spoken in the Ganges plain. Well, I meant to say "It was," until the frenetic nationalists, or should I say Hindi-belt Sanskrit-fantasists, changed it to Yamuna, which on account of Sanskrit being a finished (polished) language, no child can pronounce. (Similar to Hindu nationalist "Jai Shri Ram," which also no child can pronounce (in contrast to the old vernacular Jai Siya Ram). That's ends my Yumuna-rant. As for the spelling "Jamna," I've maybe seen it here and there, but "Jumna" is the top echelon, the whole top. The transliteration "Jumna" with "u" is the old East India Company-era transliteration system: u as in hut; oo as in rajpoot; a as in Calcutta (both positions of a), . - Oppose as shown above it is movie's official spelling used on posters etc. Sajaypal007 (talk) 08:28, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
