SPOILER ALERT! edit

I was looking for the actor of Chief tyrol. I just finished watching Season 1 BSG. I didn't want to know he's fracking cylon. DELETE IT!!! You spoiled everything for me.

Tyrol's Counseling Sessions with Cavil edit

Fodder for future edits/additions (avoiding spoilers!) -- it is worthy of note that Cavil (in his first guise as priest/counselor) makes several remarks that seem to dance around but not directly answer the question "Is Galen Tyrol a sleeper Cylon operative?" Cavil is not the only one to do this, of course (e.g., Leoben has made similar intimations about other chars), but I thought this material might prove important as further end-of-season revelations occur. Picture edit

What is the common procedure for procuring a picture? I'd rather not violate a copyright, nor would Wikipedia let me, but this is a miniseries/season one picture that shows the boyish Chief and not the more portly incarnation seen since season two. Most other characters have new photos shot in that corridor instead of the bulkhead since season three began and so should the Chief.Levelistchampion 02:47, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't think you should put his race as Humanoid Cylon right in that box there, because that is an important plot detail which might be spoiled for some people who haven't watched that yet. I'm very upset because this was spoiled for me just by clicking on his name!! I'm only on the first season. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.100.219.49 (talk) 04:28, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry about that, but Wikipedia's spoiler policy is that we do not shield people from reading spoilers here. The idea is to provide detailed information on the subject of the article. -- Noneofyourbusiness (talk) 15:57, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Model number edit

Where was it mentioned that he is model #12? Canez (talk) 01:04, 25 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Nowhere. Besides, I think it more likely that #12 is the last unrevealed Cylon. Removed.Yarilo2 (talk) 05:57, 2 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ron Moore has gone on the record as saying the Final Five don't have numbers, although Michael Hogan also reportedly said Tigh was #12. -161.133.8.248 (talk) 19:50, 10 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Indeed, the numbered cylons run from 1 thru 8, the only gap was Daniel, the Cylon only mentioned by Ellen and Cavill and having been killed before the beginning of the show. That means we have positive IDs on the first 8 Cylons, with the Final Five making it a total of 13. With Daniel dead that brings it back down to 12, the number given to the Colonials in the original miniseries. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.61.216.116 (talk) 18:59, 21 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Quoted text edit

That is a very large chunk of quoted text in the lead without a reference. Does anybody have a proper reference for it or it'll have to be removed? Million_Moments (talk) 22:23, 21 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Galen Tyrol as King of Scotland edit

" In the final podcast for the series, Moore acknowledged that the island Tyrol exiled himself to was in fact Scotland and that the character eventually encountered humans and became the de facto first king of Scotland." Anyone know where we can get this podcast as I think we need a better reference than '^ Ronald D. Moore Battlestar Galactica podcast '. I didn't think that Scotland even was an island 150,000 years ago but was still joined to continental Europe due to lower sea levels. AllanHainey (talk) 12:15, 17 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
