Proposal - Move post to more accurate name edit
It has been proposed in this section that Frog test be renamed and moved to Historical pregnancy tests. A bot will list this discussion on requested moves' current discussions subpage within an hour of this tag being placed. The discussion may be closed 7 days after being opened, if consensus has been reached (see the closing instructions). Please base arguments on article title policy, and keep discussion succinct and civil. Please use {{subst:requested move}} . Do not use {{requested move/dated}} directly. |
Frog test → Historical pregnancy tests – This posts covers multiple historical pregnancy tests beyond the frog test.
I'm also open to alternative names for the new post

- Rename to Early scientific pregnancy testing or Pregnancy tests using mice, rabbits and frogs: There were probably some sort of other pregnancy tests used in historically before 1927 – perhaps involving smoke, herbs, incantations, massages, prayers, coffee grounds analysis, palmistry, phrenology, observations of weather patterns, etc. — BarrelProof (talk) 10:28, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
- Rename to Pregnancy tests using animals, following the same principle as BarrelProof but more concise. * Pppery * it has begun... 22:51, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah Pregnancy tests using animals seems like a perfect name to me. Therealteal (talk) 07:38, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, that should be good. Will need a little rewriting of the lede though. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 10:28, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
