My contributions to this page edit

I've contributed significant references and some text recently.

I knew Dr. Leonard from about 1950 to his death in 1960 (I was a child). I continue to be a friend of the family.

I am aware of Wikipedia's policies on Conflict of Interest and will do my best to be neutral. If you have any concerns, please leave a message here or on my talk page. Regards, Ariconte (talk) (Email me) 10:32, 17 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

You should be greatly respected for your honesty. As long as the content meets all the normal Neutral point of view guidelines, there should be absolutely no problem there. fredgandt 01:57, 25 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Minor edits edit

I've edited some minor parts for grammar and clarity. I'm not an astronomer, so I have a couple of questions on the content:

I renamed the section to 'Kuiper Belt hypothesis' as I presume there's only one of them? If there was more than one Kuiper Belt hypothesis, we would use the plural 'hypotheses'. Also, is the term 'trans-Neptunian' or 'ultra-Neptunian' - the source uses the latter?

It is unclear in the source whether the three 'prize pupils' of Leonard who directed planetariums were recipients of the Leonard medal, or were his 'best' pupils. If the latter, I'd replace 'prize' with 'best'. I think it would also be good to name them (Ron Hartman, Ron Oriti and O. Richard Norton?).

I think 'best' is right for the pupils; I'll check the Leonard medal list. I just copied the Kuiper stuff ... I would suppose there are several but will check. Thanks for looking at it, Ariconte (talk) 18:51, 23 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
