Status as a mutant? edit

Wasn't he stripped of his powers completely? Shouldn't the line about him being classified as an Omega-level mutant be past tense (i.e. "was considered")?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.145.212.109 (talk) 08:14, 26 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

He's one of the 198 files of Mutants who retained their powers after crappy M-Day.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.154.183.244 (talk) 01:06, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Apparently the 198 comic states that he is still a mutant. Who knows where this will lead.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.136.86.253 (talk) 17:32, 30 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

He seems to have his powers back in Fantastic Four 574. BLARG! First Sentry and now him - how many reality warpers do we need exactly? --71.185.150.107 (talk) 02:44, 27 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Since the character's inception, Franklin has always wielded incredible powers. It was established early on (long before even The Beyonder's introduction) that he could do just about anything he wanted, although the term 'reality-warper' itself was not popularized until now. In other words, Franklin always had the power; the warper label just came later. --ArmsHeldOut (talk) 18:33, 25 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Beryllium edit

What's the deal with his weakness to Beryllium? I've never heard of this before. Please cite something that says he has said weakness.—Preceding unsigned comment added by DoctorWorm7 (talkcontribs) 07:01, 27 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think ur refering to Hyperion, not Frank Richards. Kitsune dxb.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Kitsune dxb (talkcontribs) 20:37, 9 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Beryllium and its compounds are highly toxic to everyone, not just Franklin Richards. Not Wolverine though. RobertAustin 09:45, 31 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Pictures edit

We really could use a picture of Franklin as an adult. He's not one now, but Franklin having been made an adult temporarily is a fairly significant part of his history, and as such it would be a good addition to show what he looked like at the time. Redxiv—Preceding undated comment added by Redxiv (talkcontribs) 06:29, 25 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes, we definitely should have more pictures of Franklin in his various incarnations, versions and ages. Das Baz 18 May 2006, 10:45 AM.—Preceding undated comment added by Das Baz (talkcontribs) 15:49, 18 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

There seems to be a pattern to him of being stripped of all his powers, then getting them back and becoming so powerful that he's at the divinity level. Perhaps this pattern will continue indefinitely. Das Baz, 18 May 2006, 10:47 AM.—Preceding undated comment added by Das Baz (talkcontribs) 15:49, 18 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I agree, there should be more pics of Franklin. The should be more pics of him in his many versions like in MC2 and Days of Future Past. There should also be pics of him in his various teams like Power Pack and Generation X. A pic of him in his spin-off comic just isn't enough for a character as important as him. Kitsune dxb, 10 July 2006, 12:35 AM.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Kitsune dxb (talkcontribs) 20:36, 9 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think the picture at the top of the page is outdated; he seems to be 7-8 in the picture, but is about 9-10 in the comics, and he seems to have browner hair. Mishy dishy 03:37, 15 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation edit

Last but not least, we need a disambiguation page and a separate article on the other Franklin Richards, the 19th-century LDS Church leader who edited the Pearl of Great Price. Das Baz, 18 May 2006, 10:48 AM.—Preceding undated comment added by Das Baz (talkcontribs) 15:49, 18 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Age edit

I've heard, but yet to see actual reference, to Franklin Richards being born before the Kree-Skrull War. Does anyone have a reference for this? --Dr Archeville 19:20, 14 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, Franklin was born in Fantastic Four Annual #6, published in November 1968, whereas the Kree-Skrull War occurred in the pages of The Avengers #89-97, published from June 1971 to March 1972, so yes, he was most certainly born before that conflict. WikiProject Comics B-Class Assesment required edit

This article needs the B-Class checklist filled in to remain a B-Class article for the Comics WikiProject. If the checklist is not filled in by 7th August this article will be re-assessed as C-Class. The checklist should be filled out referencing the guidance given at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment/B-Class criteria. For further details please contact the Comics WikiProject. Done. As should be obvious from the tags asking for expansion and references this needs more work and so I've bumped it down to C. (Emperor (talk) 17:25, 23 October 2008 (UTC))Reply

After perusing this article, I noticed that the Onslaught section reads like it's been written by a 12 year old. The thoughts at the end of the section don't seem to flow into one another - like they've been written on separate occasions and crammed into the same paragraph. Specifically: The bit about the Celestials, and the bit about Decimation. --Eastmav (talk) 22:38, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

– No evidence that this supporting character from Fantastic Four (comic book) is notable to such a degree as to be positioned the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC above three other entries at the Franklin Richards (disambiguation) page. —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 06:48, 19 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Support. A second-tier comic book character should not take primacy over a number of real historical figures. bd2412 T 13:40, 19 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Support. With a very few extremely well-known exceptions, we would never consider a fictional character to outweigh a real person. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:25, 22 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
