He is a fake historian linked to the Jews. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.88.88.175 (talk) 19:00, 13 August 2015 (UTC) Seeing the COI notice on the article, I'll just state the obvious, the creator of the article is a co-author with the subject of the article. dougweller (talk) 09:04, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Doug, although I was delighted to start the article, I passed off the article to someone in Kashmir as soon as possible, on your advise. There is no more COI.Please remove. SuzanneOlsson (talk) 16:00, 7 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've done that. I hadn't noticed the sentence had reappeared. I think that most of those degrees, etc. need to go, both because that long a list does not belong in a biography and because there is no evidence backing it up. Dougweller (talk) 17:52, 7 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi Doug, I did not make the list of degrees. These were compiled by someone in India who spent a lot of time to gather them. They span 65 years. They mean a lot to people of India, who do recognize the institutions and resources in the list. I see from the stats on my pages that many people from India do in fact read Wiki and visit Dr. Hassnain's page. I vote to leave them. Many thanksSuzanneOlsson (talk) 02:52, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Doug, I just removed another attack on Hassnain. I went to user talk page. This time the source is a user at the NY Public Library. Numerous complaints about page vandalisms coming from there plus threats to block edits from that ISP. Can we "lock' the Hassnain page to prevent further vandalism?SuzanneOlsson (talk) 05:56, 10 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Doug, Pelease lock this page..It is vandalized every day. Thank You.SuzanneOlsson (talk) 00:16, 19 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I again request that this page be locked because of continuous and ongoing vandalsim. Thank you.SuzanneOlsson (talk) 00:05, 11 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • Page protection is normally reserved for more serious problems, as this is only occasionally vandalised. If you want to ask, though, you could try WP:RFPP, but I suspect it would be declined. However, I'll try to keep a closer watch on it as well. - Bilby (talk) 12:03, 12 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Help please edit

I have just started to add more publishing data on Fida Hassnain's books. I think the present list is far too long and boring and lacking necessary details. Also, I don't think reprints or "under prints" deserve special listing. Finally, publications should only be listed if full publication details are made available. I can dealt with a few of the items but, if others can help with the rest, please do so. John Hill (talk) 23:10, 30 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
