I've been warned about a duplicate of my entry in found by the CorenSearch bot. This is not reflecting the truth because the so-called source of the content "worldscinema.org" is serving the illegal video files of the film along with its description taken from the DVD box. The original source is on this web site which was also created by me: http://www.mtvfilm.com/en/film/fatma-of-the-forest/

I hope this clarifies the authenticity issue in this article.

The title edit

I have doubts about the English translation of the title. Tahtacı in this case doesn't necessarily mean woodcutter, it also refers to a group of people living in Toros Mountains regardless of their occupation. Thus it is more or less a proper noun. I think Fatma the Tahtacı may be a better title. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 10:07, 6 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

The English title of the film was given by Suha Arin and it was not meant to be the exact translation of its original title. There are slight differences between the Turkish and English titles also in other films of the director, such as "Dünya Durdukça (Until Eternity)", "Safranbolu'da Zaman (Safranbolu: Reflections of Time") or "Ağacın Türküsü (The Ballad of the Wood)". Here is what Ali Simsek (a tahtaci from the film) has to say on the definition of tahtaci: YouTube > Suha Arin Belgeselleri > Tahtacı Fatma (HD) > Suha Arın Kanalı Özel Gösterimi > 2:34 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Evren.arin (talkcontribs) 19:23, 12 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
