Fall Rot edit
The link "Fall Rot" redirects to the plan regarding the invasion of France in 1940 - whereas the description of the link on this page says that it was a defence plan should France attack following the invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1938...Andrimner (talk) 17:19, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- You're correct. There were two plans by that name, one as described in this article and a seperate one (the offensive after Fall Gelb) which the other article describes. Probably someone should just add a note to that effect to the Fall Rot article rather than bother having a seperate article just for the dead-letter 1939 Fall Rot. 129.173.238.5 (talk) 16:13, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Merger or rename?? edit
I had wondered whether this was better merged into the preparation section of the much more complete Invasion of Poland (1939). However the links to other German invasion plans are very useful. Should the article be renamed? JRPG (talk) 18:50, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Fall Weiß (1939) → Fall Weiss (1939) –
This article was originally titled "Fall Weiss (1939)". It was moved without explanation or discussion to the current title a while ago; I am requesting it be restored to its original title as that reflects standard English spelling. It is also the spelling used throughout the article, and that found in reliable English language sources.

- One is about the invasion and the other about the plan for the invasion. Not the same. Volunteer Marek 02:09, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
- Agree with Marek; it isn't unusual to have an article on the plans for an operation and another on the actual events, particularly if the plans have some added dimension; in this case, there's the whole breach of neutrality/ precipitation of World War II to consider. Nazi? edit
The article itself states that the plan dates back to the 1928 Wehrmacht. To call it "nazi" is a distortion. Or is it reasonable to call the Mosin-Nagant a "communist" design? Asgrrr (talk) 00:23, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
