I have done a little research into Matron Luckes and would like to update the existing entry in Wiki Trearddur72 (talk) 13:53, 7 July 2009 (UTC)Trearddur72Reply

I acknowledge the work of, and the original creator of this page on Miss Luckes.

I dedicate my efforts on Matron Luckes in Wikipedia to the Nurses who tended me in Thomas Macauley Ward, Chelsea and Westminster Hostpital, Fulham Road, London. Where I was an in-patient 18th to 25th June 2009. Whose unfailing care, compassion and professionalism are the true monuments to Matron Luckes; the initiator of professional training for nurses in The UK. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Trearddur72 (talkcontribs) 22:06, 12 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dear Trearddur72: Excellent work! My own contribution was very small, just a few words out of the book and a brief reference to the programmes. This is how Wikipedia works. One person says, "We could do with an article on X". Then another says, "Wait a minute I've got some real information.", and so in no time you have a reasonable article. It all started when we found this old book that had belonged to my mother-in-law and I did a search for the lady on Wikipedia. The photo isn't bad either! Budhen (talk) 17:50, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
