  •   @Sims2aholic8: New enough and long enough. Hook source is in article, interesting, and checks out. I am worried about close paraphrasing to this passage from the BBC: Panellists were asked to choose songs based on the following criteria; 'Eurovision songs that you believe are modern day classics or songs that have stood the test of time. Please consider the overall package, ie the live performance, the staging, and the song.' Panellists were excluded from choosing songs they had prior involvement with, as artist, writer, publicist, or vocal coach. If that's tweaked, this will passs. • @Raymie: Thanks, I've now rephrased the paragraph in question into my own words so as to diverge further from the source material. Sims2aholic8 (talk) 09:28, 24 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
  •   This is now fit for approval. Raymie (tc) 17:10, 24 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Lead edit

  • "19 previous Eurovision entries," - don't begin a sentence with a digit per MOS:NUMNOTES
  • "contested the event," - try to use an alternative word other than "event"

Background edit

  • "a look at what would have been in 2020." - this portion of text closely resembles that of the BBC source that verifies it. It will need rewriting to pass WP:LIMITED
  • "official replacement programme to the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest," - 2020 edition,
  • "and broadcast live from Hilversum on 16 May 2020," - the source does not mention it occurred in Hilversum. Another source is needed to verify this fact
  • "instead via the BBC iPlayer." - through BBC iPlayer
  • Wikilink Graham Norton
  • "This press release also confirmed that Eurovision: Come Together would give viewers the opportunity to take part in a live vote." - needs a reliable source at the end of this to verify that it is correct

Selection process edit

  • "all songs from the contest pre-2020." - before 2020.
  • "were not eligible." - ineligible
  • "Panellists was asked to choose ten Eurovision songs" - select

Participants edit

  • "and each account holder was able to cast a vote up to three times." - cast up to three votes.
  • "of the live show, and the top 10 results were announced via the BBC website following the show." - close repetition of "show"
  • Each one of the table's columns should include "scope="col" per MOS:DTT
  • All of the artist names in the artist column should be put into the Template:sortname template

References edit

  • Reference 2 is linked to the incorrect article from the BBC
  • Reference 16 is missing the publication date
  • The Guardian is the work not the publisher

The review shall be put on hold to allow the nominator to address or query the suggestions raised above. MWright96 (talk) 15:03, 5 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
