Estradiol monopropionate → Estradiol propionate – Most common name and consistency with other pages. Medgirl131 07:27, 11 June 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. — Newslinger talk 11:45, 23 June 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. Steel1943 (talk) 15:36, 6 July 2019 (UTC)

- I have restored the DAB on Estradiol propionate which I think serves the average reader better than hatnotes. Sam Sailor 07:50, 11 June 2019 (UTC)

- @Ammarpad: Thanks for inquiring. I disagree. The C17β propionate was marketed as a medication for decades, while the C3 propionate is virtually unknown. The C17β propionate is referred to variously as "estradiol propionate" and "estradiol monopropionate" in the literature. For consistency with other steroid ester names (e.g., see here), I feel that it should have the common name of "estradiol propionate" here on Wikipedia. A separate disambiguation page for estradiol propionate could be created if needed. Medgirl131 09:20, 11 June 2019 (UTC)

- Oppose. The 3- and 17β-derivatives get similar numbers of page views: 393 and 360 respectively over the last year, ignoring the recent spike caused by this RM. Neither has a good claim to be WP:PTOPIC, either as monopropionate or as propionate. The diester gets twice as many as both of them combined: 1551. I would prefer to see the 17β-derivative at Estradiol 17β-propionate (currently a redirect), and Estradiol monopropionate redirect to the DAB page Estradiol propionate as {{R from incomplete disambiguation}}.
