Improve/Update Sales Information for Kamikaze edit

Please improve Eminem's sales information for the album, "Kamikaze," as it has been listed as "US: 252,000" without an update for almost as long as it has been out. The update should include an increase in the sales in the U.S. and provide sales for Worldwide, and other countries with substantial sales. Also, if needed the awards should be updated. If someone is experienced in this or has knowledge of such information, please help! Thank you!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by WikiiFacts (talkcontribs) 01:49, 14 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Kamikaze has reached Platinum, exceeding sales of 1 million equivalent units edit

As Forbes reported, Kamikaze has sold more than 1 million equivalent units in the US. The wiki page mentions only pure sales of the first week which is nearly 2 months ago.[1]

Marshal Mather LP 2 has sold over 4 million units in the US edit

RIAA.com reports that Marshal Mather LP 2 has received 4x Platinum which is given for at least 4 million certified units. The page also mentions that at least 4 million certified units were sold. The wiki page is contradictory. On one had it acknowledges 4x Platinum (which equals 4 million units) but then it states that only around 2 million units were sold. [1]

This is because the sales column represents pure sales only, whereas the 4x Platinum certification is for 4 million album equivalent units. Joeee777 (talk) 18:35, 23 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Revival has sold over a half million certified units edit

Riaa.com reports that Revival has received Gold by selling over a half million units. The wiki page is contradictory. It acknowledges the gold award but not the half million sold units required for the gold award. [1]

On the contrary, units aren't the same thing as actual sales when they include streams. Snuggums (talk / edits) 03:58, 25 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
The album does have more album sales than claimed by the article however. From the Revival wikipedia article [2] Vaxine21 (talk) 19:36, 19 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
Chartdata is a questionable source at best with no none credentials and shouldn't be used for claims. Snuggums (talk / edits) 20:11, 19 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
Should it be removed from the other article? Vaxine19 (talk) 16:15, 16 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Yes, remove any use of Chartdata. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 16:44, 16 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Bad Meets Evil EP edit

Many other discographies for artists include their work as a group.

Under EPs, it should have Hell: The Sequel (As Bad Meets Evil with Royce da 5’9”).

Might also want to include his work with Soul Intent and the other group. He brought out about 3 other EPs (as M&M).

Also think the albums with D12 should be included.

Yes and the D12 albums should be under the section Collaborative Albums. Joeee777 (talk) 16:22, 21 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Eminem albums discographyEminem discography – For consistency: I've found that a majority of discography pages are simply titled by artist with the word "discorgaphy" at the end. The word "albums" in the title is a bit redundant, In my (extremely) humble opinion. Dictator Black (talk) 00:07, 23 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Majavah (t/c) 13:09, 15 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

add bad meets evil and his mixtapes edit

soul intent (1995) all eyes on me (2009) the freestyle manual (idk) the freestyle show (apparently a bootleg) (2002)

Shouldn't the albums sales be total units not just physical copies? edit

This article says his latest album has sold 259,000 copies (according to hitsdailydouble), but thats actually just the pure sales and not the overall units which is 938,000 this year. Wouldn't it more accurate to show total units? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:569:7CA2:9F00:5492:6F90:19A0:6CCE (talk) 21:53, 8 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sales without equivalent units edit

@SNUGGUMS: thank you for explaining the sales. I will clearify the sales as sales without equivalent units. -- BrandNew Jim Zhang (talk) 12:55, 1 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

And I consider that sales amount should be noted like "sales as of February 2021". -- BrandNew Jim Zhang (talk) 13:06, 1 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
