editHi, this is user 87.115.90.245 who you recently sent a complaint about changing the KSI Discography as well as the Anne-Marie Discography. I would like to know why as what I am changing on the page is correct as the song Don't Play is appearing on both All Over the Place and Therapy. Also Holiday is appearing on the platinum edition of the album so I just want to know why these seem to be "incorrect" when they are in fact correct. I saw on your complaint it said something about notes, yet I have not seen said notes.
Hi user 87.115.90.245. Typically, the table should be made as simple as possible to make it easier for viewers to depict what is what. For example, in the table section that shows what album each single is from, it is not necessary to state what version of an album a single is from, but just simply the album, in this case: "All Over The Place". In terms of the note, if you look at the table box that says "Don't Play" (featuring etc etc…), there is a small letter or set of letters right after the song name. If you click or tap on that, it reveals a note about the single being featured on another album, as well as a link to the album. Again, this is to make the table more simple for viewers' benefit. Hope this helps. Joeee777 (talk) 11:32, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
I'm trying to change the age on the ARRDEE (RAPPER) WIKI PAGE BUT I CAN'T SEEM TO FIGURE IT OUT.
Incorrect information on Eminem albums discography
edit"Streaming services only tend to name the primary labels, especially for older releases."
No, there are "Shady/Aftermath/Interscope" on 2003's GRODT and "G-Unit/Interscope" on 2005's The Documentary but "Aftermath/Interscope" on 2004's Encore or 2009's Relapse, because Em had a five-album contract with Aftermath in 1998 and then a three-album one in 2008.
"Instead of basing this off streaming services, please look at the official Shady Records website, or even the physical CDs themselves..."
Label discography on the website has SSLP and MMLP, but no WWCD or Westside Gunn's album, so it can't be perceived as a source. But let's take a look at back covers of Em's albums:
- SSLP has Aftermath, Interscope and Web logos.
- MMLP has Aftermath, Interscope, Web and Goliath logos, NO SHADY.
- Every album since TES to MMLP2 have all five logos (Shady, Aftermath, Interscope, Web and Goliath).
- Since Revival, there are only four logos (Shady, Aftermath, Interscope and Goliath) but no Web.
So, we need to delete "Shady" from MMLP and put "Web" at almost every album then?

I'm telling you it's no matter how many logos are on the back cover, it's still says just "Aftermath/Interscope" on SSLP/MMLP/TES/ENC/CC/RLPS/RCVR/MMLP2 back and side covers and "Shady/Aftermath/Interscope" on RCVR/KMKZ/MTBMB.
Same as 50's albums. They have Shady, Aftermath, Interscope, G-Unit Records and Violator logos on the back, but at the same time there are "Shady/Aftermath/Interscope" inscriptions. L Trey (talk) 23:54, 25 August 2021 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Yappy2bhere. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Shady Records, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. [1] Yappy2bhere (talk) 23:47, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
Hi, I literally left a reliable citation so I’m not sure why you left me this message. So I guess I’ll re-add it "with a citation" (that was already there)??? Joeee777 (talk) 23:49, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- Wow, that was quick; thanks. The label is itself a primary source, which isn't a reliable source for our purposes. What's wanted is a secondary source; there's a (non-exhaustive) list at WP:RSMUSIC. Note that Discogs is not itself a WP:RS (per WP:NOTRSMUSIC, which I think is on that same page), but the album artwork photos can be cited for songs and albums (not helpful in this case, but it will be sooner or later). So no, don't restore it with that same primary source, restore it with support from a secondary source such as Allmusic. Yappy2bhere (talk) 23:56, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- Oh, and please read WP:3RR and be careful. Something weird's going on in Eminem-related articles right now (I saw other albums removed and restored in Shady Records but haven't investigated), and there's no point in getting blocked if the album really is arriving in 2-3 days. Singles can be released any day of the week
editA song being released on a Tuesday and not a Friday has no bearing on whether something is a single or not. It's not even a criterion for whether something is a single or not. Music used to be released all days of the week until "new music Friday" became a thing. Even now that it is, the day of the week varies for different countries and surprise releases are still a thing. Ss112 16:26, 20 April 2022 (UTC)

ARIA citations
editHi Joeee777. It is much simpler and safer to use {{cite certification}} for citing ARIA certifications. It also allows source reuse. --Muhandes (talk) 15:02, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
