Editing Suggestions

edit

The last two paragraphs under "Marriage to Montagu" are not referenced, and they adopt a subjective perspective. I suggest cutting the last sentence with reference to Horace Walpole, as it contributes nothing to the significance or meaning of the subject (Elizabeth Montagu), and I would suggest deleting the section on Montagu's attitude toward Newcastle unless it can be referenced and revised into neutral language. LLRungegordon (talk) 21:21, 30 November 2015 (UTC) The section on Bluestockings and Writing might be edited, since the section below on Works develops a more factual and neutral description of the works. The references to attack on Johnson is not substantiated; according to to Elizabeth Eger, Montagu's letters indicate that she felt more critical of Johnson's preface to Shakespeare than she allowed in the final published piece.
