Does the number of registered users include alts? --Sephiroth9611 00:19, 19 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Yes, although players are only allowed to have 2 characters, with a few exceptions, who have three. Not everyone has an alt.

Reorganization and categories

edit

This article could stand a serious reorganization and expansion in some areas, namely some more technical aspects behind the game, such as info about the server and the version of PennMUSH being used. It could also be placed in some more categories than just the one that it is included in now. --Sephiroth9611 13:56, 12 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Version is PennMush 1.7.1 p13 but there have always been a wide range of modifications to support Elendor's customized code. Hard to say how relevant that is. Dlgoldstein 14:56, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Keep in mind though that this is an encyclopedia article not only about game play but the game itself. It's not an advertisement for Elendor's cultures system. --Sephiroth9611 14:29, 26 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I can expand this article, but the primary challenges are the verifiability of the information. Pointing back to Elendor's website is the use of self-published material (which may be acceptable in this case), whereas anything I write would be original research (I'm Elendor's founder). Barring screaming objections, I can add some neutral information about the server and the evolution of the game, and cite it back to where it appears on elendor.net. Disclosure

edit

I just wanted to ensure that it was disclosed that I am a former administrator (wizard) at Elendor, although I have not been a regular player there in some time (I spent 2006 entirely without logging in), although I first logged in in 1993. I will try to avoid any POV mistakes and I don't intend to represent the MUSH. Just happened to bump into the entry and wanted to make sure it was reasonably encyclopedic as I do think Elendor has some importance at least in it's niche. --Dlgoldstein 17:59, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
