In the news

The school's principle has recently been in the news, and there has already been some vandalism of the article. If the vandalism continues, this article should probably be semi-protected.

For the next couple of weeks, I would suggest adding nothing to the article. Remember, the Wikipedia is NOT Wikinews. Once there is a clearer picture of the details, then it can be decided if the information is noteworthy enough to be included in the school's article. BlankVerse 08:33, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Why was edit marked "BLP"?

RE: "Faculty Convicted of Registrable Sex Offenses" The inclusion of several faculty involved in sex offense convictions within a short period of time (6 years) justifies the inclusion of the individuals involved. As far as I know, all four people are still living, but any inference to their names was done in conjunction with proper citation format as mandated by Wikipedia's strict citation protocols. Notable Alumnae

I think both Bradley Thompson ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bradley_Thompson ) and Kim Stanley Robinson ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Stanley_Robinson#Awards ) should definitely be added to the notable alumnae section.Dogmo1001 (talk) 19:14, 26 July 2013 (UTC)

Should section on faculty sex offenders be removed?

I'm sure that El Modena doesn't have a lock on faculty members committing sex offenses against students, and adding such a section should be taken out. This is not to minimize the issue, but I'm sure many high schools have had such criminals. I'm not going to take it out, but I think if we have a bunch of people agree here, then it could be removed by consensus.
