Please stop removing relevant information from the page. The main reason that Mr. DuMont is notable, and has a page in Wikipedia, is due to the fact that he was nominated and that it languished for 18 months because of his sexual orientation. I agree. It is notable that he was nominated and that it languished for 18 months. It was reported in reliable sources that his nomination was though to be upheld because he is openly gay.
