Although a doctor by training, the article says he served as a line officer, not a surgeon in the Civil War. Therefore, "Category:American Civil War surgeons" was removed from the article until a reference about serving as a surgeon is added. semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 12:47, 9 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
