Mislabeled photo
editThe main photo is captioned
TV Funhouse panel at Comic-Con. L to R: Robert Smigel, Dino, Bob Odenkirk & Tommy Blacha
However, the file on Wikimedia Commons is captioned
Robert Smigel, Doug Dale, Dino Stamatopoulos, and Tommy Blacha at the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con
It seems to me that Bob Odenkirk is not in the photo, so I am editing the article's caption to match the file's caption. Attys (talk) 20:24, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
Bob Odenkirk IS in the photo. He's standing up in the back. Doug Dale is on the computer screen. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.216.249.139 (talk) 07:47, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
Citation needed for "Community" reference.
editHi,
I think that it's a good idea to try and find sources that can be directly cited whenever possible. Stamatopoulos was involved in "Community", but then left the show for various reasons before Season 4. If he's now back with the show (I'm not saying he isn't), then there must be some newspaper, website, trade publication, etc. somewhere that can be used as a source. Someone leaving a popular TV show and then returning in a subsequent season is probably noteworthy enough to be written about. I'm not sure if telling someone to "Just look at any of the show's credits" is appropriate way to verify stuff written on Wikipedia. So, I've re-added the "citation needed" tag, and will continue looking for a source to use here. If anybody one else finds one before I do then please feel free to add a citation and remove the tag. Thanks in advance. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:32, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
Name
editIs Stamatopoulos known to speak Greek or use the Greek alphabet in writing his name? If not, it doesn't really make sense to put it on here. -68.8.237.220 (talk) 06:30, 8 November 2015 (UTC)
- Removed the Greek portion because there's no evidence that he uses it anywhere. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Literally Satan (talk • contribs) 04:41, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
Starburns Industries
editWhy does Starburns Industries redirect to this page and then there's not a single mention to it?--90.71.14.190 (talk) 18:25, 13 May 2017 (UTC)
81.228.252.54 (talk) 01:58, 7 December 2017 (UTC)That's a very good question considering they are not synonymous. He's one of the founders, but not the sole person behind it.
"Launched in the summer of 2010 to produce Emmy Award© winning “Community” holiday special, Starburns was founded by Dan Harmon, Dino Stamatopoulos, Joe Russo II, James Fino and Duke Jonhson in order to create a workspace that gives the support and freedom to original and creative people to make content that is funny, strange, sad and beautiful."
