Advertising tag, factual accuracy edit

This article reads like it was written by someone who is more familiar with the vague, advertising-like style of press releases and corporate self-descriptions that with the neutral, factual style of encyclopedias, and in particular Wikipedia's NPOV policy. Peacock terms are used throughout ("world leader", "numerous leading", "boasts", "many", "regularly").

In addition, the accuracy of some sentences - as far as they correspond to actual, verifiable statements - is dubious. Example: The claim that it is "considered a world leader in the quality of its work output[1][2], as well as for the career prospects of its graduates[3]." The last source only support the statement that the KCL's whole politics department (not the Department of War Studies) came third (not top) in one nationwide (not worldwide) general ranking (considering the relevant "Job after 6 mths" stat, only fifth) by one newspaper (not in the general public opinion).

Considering that the contributions of the article's author focus exclusively on the KCL Department of War Studies, it seems worthwhile to note Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines.
