Fair use rationale for Image:D Barlow CS.jpg edit

Image:D Barlow CS.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Deirdre Did Not Work At The Corner Shop In The 1970s! edit

I have altered the incorrect information stating that Deirdre worked at the Corner Shop in the 1970s. Renee Bradshaw did not employ Deirdre during that decade - only Betty Turpin for a brief spell whilst she was away. Deirdre began work at the shop after Renee's death in 1980.

Duration edit

Shouldn't Deirdre's duration be '1972, 1973-93, 1994-'? It's because Deirdre left in December 1993 (a couple of episodes before the end of the year) because of Kirkbride's illness and then returned in June 1994. So I'm just wondering if it should be like that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Boushenheiser (talkcontribs) 18:24, 10 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

She went on sick leave - that's not the same as leaving the show. Smurfmeister (talk) 16:36, 30 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Ray? edit

  • In March 1977, Ray and Deirdre move into No. 5 Coronation Street...

First mention of Ray. Surname Langton not stated till several paragraphs later (needs to be stated here), and no explanation who he is, or how the two became a couple. Koro Neil (talk) 06:03, 20 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Home edit

Deirdre is still at Peak District not no. 1 coronation street because she hasn't been killed off yet also she never returned on or off screen to no.1 so i have changed it to where Bev lives. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dazza20006 (talkcontribs) 18:35, 28 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

She's visiting a friend in the Peak District - that doesn't mean she lives there. Reverted. Smurfmeister (talk) 16:25, 30 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Maybe so but why did it get changed to Peak District when she left to visit Bev?
