REVIEW FOR DECLARATION OF MARTIAL LAW IN RUSSEL COUNTY, ALABAMA edit
Initial Thoughts edit
It's a well-written article about an interesting topic, for sure. However, immediately, I can some minor flaws that can be fixed. Firstly, I would like if it were cleared up how exactly law enforcement was involved in the crimes and activities listed. For example, something such as "law enforcement/county officials failed to ...." et cetera. In addition, the background information section shouldn't discuss the declaration of martial law and the events of the Martial law itself; it should explain the events leading up to the declaration of martial law, perhaps why the law enforcement failed, in what ways the law enforcement failed, and other problems that ultimately lead up to the declaration of martial law.
Initial Suggestions: edit
- More detailed background information. Don't mention the events of Martial Law during the background information section, instead, m elaborate on the events causing the Martial Law. A little more explanation can't hurt.

Contains ample and a wide variety of media. However, a map of the area in which Martial Law was in effect should be included.

- Hi Danielyng, thanks for your review. I've expanded on the background quite a bit and split off Patterson's murder and the immediate response into a separate section. I've also added the map, as requested. Let me know what you think - Dumelow (talk) 19:00, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you, the added changes are great! Excellent research, excellent information, great article. I enjoyed reading it. Approving now.
