As per Wikipedia's usage policy on trademarks, this page should refer to DeWalt, not DeWALT. Simply because DeWalt's marketing division uses their name in all caps in imitation of their logo does not mean Wikipedia should do the same. Skylark 21:20, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

The Black&Decker section is confusing

It says for instance the company relinquished the "Black & Decker" name. That probably happened but they are currently selling Black & Decker branded tools. It's not intuitive to tell when this section is referring to Black&Decker vs. DeWalt. It's not clearly stated whether the acquisition of the DeWalt trademark was related to the opinion of Michael Hammes. Someone put a [when] citation on the statement "because the company used to be associated with lighter-weight tools." But it would be more helpful knowing when Michael Hammes was vice-president, was it around the time of purchasing DeWalt? Hence I am removing that [when] potshot, which would be potentially difficult to nail down, and putting it were a [when] is more needed to readily improve the poor readability of the section.Mea (talk) 05:34, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
