This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because of subjects clear significance with respect to investing. David is well known as an angel investor through SV Angel in companies such as Square (IPO today), and others. It is telling that just the fact that he was moving from the Bay Area to Los Angeles warranted multiple articles on popular tech blogs, as well as the fact that he was leaving SV Angel warranting coverage in WSJ tech section etc.
