Delete. This is 1. campaign literature 2. written by David J. Porter or his family/friends or 3. an article about a non-notable person. The sources are biased, possibly autobiography reprinted by someone. If there is such a thing as a non-notable public office, then I believe this man holds it. So he's a CPA? So he's got a family? If this article is to stay at all, then it should be 2-3 sentences in length: "David J. Porter holds insignificant office X. He was elected in ___, defeating candidate Y."
