Added a lot of info based on a newspaper article, but I now have reason to doubt some of the facts in that article. I deleted much of the new text I had added myself, will do more checking, and will eventually (within a few weeks) update the article again with good info.
In the meantime, there were some derogatory and sarcastic comments by a Dgrant1104 that I did delete: things like praising the subject's "technological knowledge," and then adding a statement that he wanted to "rewind a DVD." This user name seems to have been used for only one day, but if this user, either with the same name or another name, makes a future similar malicious attempt, I will report the issue and try to get him/her barred from wikipedia.
