"sacred" edit

What makes the song "sacred"? Is that the appropriate word here? Or is it rather a hymn or religious song? I assume we're not claiming the song itself is venerated or worshipped. --diff (talk) 22:47, 23 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sacred music is not sacred, it's a term. - The song is not the standard hymn, - yes, it ended up there, printed in officially hymnals, but is different, and for most of the text not outspoken religious. If you have a better word, feel free to change. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:10, 23 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
My apologies; if it's a specific term of art rather than a descriptive phrase, then maybe a wikilink to the appropriate article when you use that expression would suffice. Readers outside of a religious context won't be familiar with it and may mistakenly take it at face value as I did. --diff (talk) 02:17, 24 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

English title edit

Should the English title not be mentioned? It is "Thank you for giving me this morning". That's the title you can find it under in several hymnals. https://www.godsongs.net/2013/01/thank-you.html 96.22.178.42 (talk) 00:31, 2 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
