Johnathan Rose

What is the basis of the 'also known as Jonathan Rose'? There is no reference or explanation for this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.104.161.236 (talk) 2010-08-13

Creationism

edit

The article downplays Dan's Christianity. I think it should mention his creationism.

He of course disputes being a 'Creationist' per se, albeit in slightly coy terms. If one looks at the social media output of his church (the one previously run by his father and now by his brother), they're pretty eye-wateringly right-wing Calvinistic Baptist types, who encourage their congregation to interrogate political candidates according to the prospectus of the Christian Institute. But I doubt that church is notable in its own right, or that there's much in the way of third-party sources for their views. And DW hasn't espoused them directly himself, so not usable here. 109.255.211.6 (talk) 18:07, 26 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Specifically on this point, the article linked is not only now over 5 years old, but does not, itself, link to any direct confirmation that Dan's beliefs are anything of the sort. If having a father or brother who hold certain views (let alone the institution they labour in) is proof of anything, it means that I am an anarcho-syndicalist activist who believes Bob Dylan is the only true God. I have edited the article to provide a more nuanced appraisal of Dan's views. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fasteddie10 (talkcontribs) 07:48, 12 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Wondering how someone can change information based on a cite needing a link rot recovery of [1]. A viable archive of the page exists at [2] but the underlying AVmedia actually needs to be cited and is not apparently available from that archive, though it still is live at [3] with archive at [4]. Sorting out the citations will take more work than finding the true height of one Attock footballer. I recall Crawley had an all-weather hockey pitch more like wet unset cement and a quite deep swimming pool but someone may have burned it down but my memory may be faulty.
