The result of the move request was: not moved. Consensus that the primary title "Dan Howell" would be most appropriate as a DAB page. The discussion also raised questions about the non-aligned disambiguators of Dan Howell (politician) and Daniel Howell (Wisconsin politician), but that topic was not discussed enough to result in a consensus for any action. Dan Howell (politician) → Dan Howell – Dan Howell is currently a primary redirect to Daniel Howell. However, given that Daniel Howell does not seem to professionally go by the name Dan Howell anymore (in his self-published material, he refers to himself as Daniel), and is referenced in sources from the last few years as Daniel Howell more often than not, I think this Dan Howell should be the primary topic, lesser page views notwithstanding. Oppose but would support creation of a Dan Howell disambiguation page that would list Dan Howell (Tennessee politician), Daniel Howell (Wisconsin politician), YouTuber Daniel Howell and Daniel Howell Hise House. As an alternative option would also support main title header of the dab page to be Daniel Howell and moving the YouTuber's header to Daniel Howell (comedian) or Daniel Howell (presenter). As for the two American politicians, their headers should be either Dan Howell (politician) and Daniel Howell (politician) or Dan Howell (Tennessee politician) and Daniel Howell (Wisconsin politician), with incomplete disambiguations Dan Howell (politician) and Daniel Howell (politician) redirecting to the proposed Dan Howell or Daniel Howell dab page. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 20:58, 31 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
