Joan, Lady of Wales edit

For the record, because it has been edited back and forth at least three times, Dafydd's mother was not Joan of England, Queen Consort of Scotland. Llywelyn Ffar married John's illegitimate daughter Joan, Lady of Wales. Please stop changing the link to John's legitimate daughter, who married Alexander II of Scotland. I have added a question mark to the issue section in the info box at the top of Dafydd's page, to reflect the fact that there is no contemporary evidence that he had a son. As far as I know, Dwnn's is the first mention of Dafydd ap Dafydd, and a gap of 350 years without any corroborating evidence means we have to be careful when considering this to be correct. It appears that someone on Wiki is heavily invested in believing that the forebears of Sir John Wynn, 1st Baronet have some claim to being of the House of Aberffraw; however, the historical evidence is questionable. The earliest mention is vaguely cited as "about the beginning of the 14c" at WYNN family, of Gwydir, Caerns. and makes a claim of being descended from Owain Gwynedd, not from his grandson Llywelyn Fawr. Sometime in the last 8 years the question mark inserted by Ynyrhesolaf was removed but no citation was added.

If Dafydd ap Llywelyn had any acknowledged children that lived long enough to propagate, given the lives of the children of Llywelyn and Dafydd ap Gruffudd, there is a considerable argumentum ex silentio to overcome to explain how said child or children could realistically claim that descent without the English government of the time knowing of their existence.
