In the August 23, 2022 revision I have attempted to include the information on the curve-winged sabrewing as defined by IOC, that is, the two-subspecies Pampa curvipennis. Much of the previous article, especially the information attributed to Williamson^[1] refers to the pre-split three-subspecies Campylopterus curvipennis and is not specific to the IOC's understanding of the species.
