I'm working with the artist & writer, with permission to use the original cdbaby/allmusic article... just a little rusty on my wikipedia etiquette! Automaticshoes (talk) 16:52, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Darryl Read is happy to verify the article, if you need... info@darrylread.com ... Automaticshoes (talk) 17:11, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

I appreciate that you are new to Wikipedia, but cutting and pasting text from other sites is not the way to create articles here, even if you created that text originally. Unless the article can demonstrate that Crushed Butler are a notable band by referring to reliable published sources, the article will get deleted - that's just the way it works here I'm afraid. I believe Crushed Butler merits an article, and am happy to help to build it, but it has to be neutral, encyclopedic, and based on reliable sources. Such sources do exist, e.g. [1], [2] (translation), [3], [4], [5], and [6]. There may also be some material in the references from The Gorillas (an article which I created) that is relevant to Crushed Butler. --Michig (talk) 08:56, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have retagged this for speedy deletion as copyright infringement. The original G12 shouldn't have been removed in my view until such time as the OTRS ticket has been proccessed. Anyone wishing to have an article here should do what everyone else does and write one from scratch using the available sources. --Michig (talk) 06:27, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

The original article was deleted as a copyright violation. I have created a new version to which the OTRS ticket above does not apply.--Michig (talk) 10:38, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
So it would be ok to take out that box, wouldn't it? --CatWizard777 (talk) 20:04, 17 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
There's no longer any speedy deletion box there. I don't see any need for the Conflict of Interest box so have removed it. --Michig (talk) 20:14, 17 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Merger proposal

edit

I propose that Tiger (1970s band) be merged into Crushed Butler. I think that the content in the Tiger article can be easily incorporated into the context of Crushed Butler one. The Crushed Butler article can easily accommodate the merging of Tiger content and will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. As Tiger was simply a new name for the band, but didn't release anything (as far as I can see), I believe the merger would amply convey the band's full history.
