Methodism

This page states he was a Methodist preacher before being ordained into the Church of England in 1781. However Methodism was a branch of Anglicanism in that period, only separating as the Methodist Church after death of the Wesleys, who did not intend to create a new denomination.Cloptonson (talk) 20:48, 30 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
