Dubious

"What have you done for the customer today?" was a Carly Fiorina-ism after HP acquired Convex. It was not a part of Convex culture.

I remember the banners in Convex D as being "what have you done for the customer lately?" as kind of a riff on janet jackson song "what have you done for me lately?"

Fun indeed

I was a contractor so I didn't get to partake as it was employees only, so I was told anyway. However, they did bring in a keg of beer on Friday afternoons. They also had different local restaurants come in to cater lunch which was usually something like $5. There was a game room with a pool table, arcade games and some other stuff, that I can't remember. Also services like laundry, a hairdresser would come in once a week and other things like that. I enjoyed my short time there. This was in Richardson, TX. Nelgin (talk) 02:18, 6 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

I noticed that someone added my article "Convex is dead, long live Convex" to the external links, and the original web site is no longer live. I have resurrected the article here in my current blog: https://swalchemist.wordpress.com/2003/04/01/convex-is-dead-long-live-convex/.

As the author of the article in the citation, I'm not sure if it's kosher for me to edit the link myself. Faught (talk) 04:49, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
