I looked at this article through "curation" and made comments on notability. Aside from the primary source, that does not advance notability, there are two references that just drop the subjects name, as passing mention. It is hard to pass even the most lax criterion when there is less than Wikipedia:Bare notability per #1 and #2. Arguably this is just an essay but:
The fact is that this article, as sourced, would likely not survive an WP:AFD. The notability guidelines, WP:GNG, WP:NSPORTS are clear on basic criterion. As a BLP requirements for such an article are more stringent.
To counter any dubious notability concerns there is a mandate that better reliable sourcing be provided that is more than passing mention, such as satisfying significant coverage. Otr500 (talk) 03:10, 31 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
