Please note that Concord Prep High School is not a legal successor of the former Concord International High School of 1831 Wilshire Blvd (aka “Concord High School”). Concord Prep High School does not have any records of that school. --Website of Concord Prep HS [1]--KeithbobTalk 18:57, 18 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Rename article

edit

I propose the article be renamed: Concord International High School --KeithbobTalk 18:59, 18 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I disagree. The article should be named Concord High School (Concord International High School, Inc.). "Concord International High School, Inc." was the corporate name of the school; its dba was "Concord High School." [1]Packerdavis (talk) 15:36, 22 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

The current sources in the article all refer to the school as Concord International HS. Can you provide a web link to reliable sources that say otherwise? --KeithbobTalk 17:22, 22 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

In addition, I would like to alter the following sentences as follows, based on Federal Bankruptcy Court documents and the Settlement Agreement in Concord International High School, Inc. v. Susan Packer Davis/Hille et al:

Susan Packer Davis, the director for nearly thirty years, resigned in 2010, leaving the school with virtually no debt. She was "named in a civil lawsuit" filed by the new board of directors in 2011.Packerdavis (talk) 20:21, 22 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi, A phone number and an address for an office is not considered a reliable source on WP. Also, you have not provided a URL for either the CA business license and/or Concord HS web site pages that say Concord HS is Concord International HS. Please keep in mind both the CA gov and Concord HS web sites are WP:PRIMARY sources and have limited usage on WP. But at least it will be a starting point for discussion if you can provide URL's to web pages that corroborate your claim.
Regarding SP Davis, this article is about the school and events in its history. It's not about SP Davis. I personally find the sentence you want to add to be gratuitous and inappropriate for the article. However, I'm open to discussing it. What is the reliable secondary source that reports this information?--KeithbobTalk 18:12, 31 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
