Sorting criterion?

A while ago I had sorted the actors, actresses and directors by family name. MKar just re-sorted the actresses by given name. I tried to ascertain which is the correct sorting method, but evidence seems ambiguous. Most of the reliable sources in the articles I checked which used only one name to refer to their subject indeed used the given name, but there were exceptions - one article discussing an actor-turned-politician even referred to the actor by given name and to his political opponent by family name. What is the correct sorting criterion? Should we re-sort the actors and directors by given name, too? Huon (talk) 17:08, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

Help Please!

I have started creating the article List of Indian film series. I need your help in adding the film series in Oriya language (if any). Since there might be a lot of them consisting of 2 films, my opinion is that only those film series with 3 or more films should be added (all of which have been released only). Please feel free to come and add more and do the required corrections. Once fully created, this list will be highly informative. All future opinions and comments should be posted here or on my talk page only please since I would not be watching this talk page. - Jayadevp13 17:16, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

Unsourced cast and crew

I have once again removed all unsourced redlinks from the "Cast and crew" section. There is no benefit to having a name with no information whatsoever in that list, and I expect many of the entries I removed are not notable and thus not fit for this list at all. I have also removed a couple of entries which actually did link to an article. Several of those articles were not about actors at all but, say, about a district in Pakistan or the like. One other was about an actress with no discernible connection do Odisha cinema. The singers which were related to cinema all were already part of the music director section, which seems more appropriate. What I didn't do but what probably should be done was double-checking all the remaining list entries to ascertain that those are indeed cast and crew of Odishan cinema.
