The Church is located outside of the internationally recognized boundary of Israel, in East Jerusalem part of the West Bank Palestinian territories. Therefore, it is not proper to say it is in Israel. Further, the subject of the article, the Syriac Catholic Church, does not consider its church to be legitimately in Israel. While this is a contentious issue, on a Catholic matter, deference should be given to the Catholic Church. Kurt20008 (talk) 15:04, 30 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
