"Jane and her husband Arthur" edit

Link number 9 to the Argus is confusing. The article there begins by talking about the fictional character "Jane" but then indicates she is a real person, married to Arthur, Chrystabel Leighton-Porter's son. Is the reference to a 2002 funeral about a completely different "Arthur"? Or did Chrystabel Leighton-Porter's son Arthur marry someone called Jane who worked for the Daily Mirror? The reference used for his death-date seems dubious, especially as he was born in 1957 and so would only have been 45 years old or so in 2002. 2.31.164.72 (talk) 11:35, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Which 36th Division? edit

Which 36th Division was allegedly inspired to do the advancing? DYK mentioned the 36th (Ulster) Division or something, but their page only mentions WWI, so something's amiss or something's missing. Jason A. Recliner (talk) 06:48, 16 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

On further investigation [1] refers to the 36th Infantry Division (United Kingdom) in Burma - but the Telegraph article sourced in the article [2] refers to 6 miles in Normandy... Anyone know which is right? Tony (talk) 17:20, 6 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Neutral tone restored edit

Not much of a debate needed as someone had gone a bit over the top but I think it is OK now so unless anyone can spot something I've missed I will remove the NPOV in a week Thruxton (talk) 20:26, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
