Chidiya (film)Chidiya – This has got to be the primary, if not the only, encyclopedic topic of this name on Wikipedia: Chidiya presently redirects to house sparrow, although it's more of a general term for small birds in Hindi (and Wikipedia is not a dictionary). —innotata 04:13, 4 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose but chidiya is also used in English: Journal of the Anthropological Society of Oxford -Anthropological Society of Oxford - 1999 Volume 29 - Page 57 discusses "black background with chidiya of red and yellow or red background chidiya of black and yellow". Though having said that Chidiya, the late titular character in the long-running Chidiya's House soap opera now at over 1000 episodes, is probably best known use of the word now. • OK, it might be better to make Chidiya a disambiguation page then. But in the first instance, what is chidiya used to mean? Is that an encyclopedic topic? And, does Chidiya's House have an article? —innotata 20:44, 7 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
