TO DO edit

The article needs more information on hostels, library (mention the Borel collection), student activities (Fiesta, OPC) and Alumni association. (Prakashchandrasekaran 18:24, 7 April 2007 (UTC))Reply

Citations edit

The Wikipedia article on CMI already has a whole lot of information that isn't available anywhere else (original information?). I think that unless we provide appropriate and adequate citations, the article is in danger of deletion. This included the sections on faculty and research interests, the sections on student intake and student placement, and other sections.

Most sections also lack notability (WTM) Vipul 11:15, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I agree. --Anshul 21:50, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think we need to include reference to the annual report available at the CMI website, at the appropriate place. Prakashchandrasekaran 16:33, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Too much info edit

There is too much information here. Like we're looking for good things to say about the place. --Chimpionspeak (talk) 17:31, 14 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Could you be more specific? I'm using IITM, IITB article sections as precedent for notability.SPat talk 01:19, 15 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
Well, it reads like a brochure. For example the section on research interests is too large for what actually goes on here. I don't know how good an idea it is to have something about(for all practical purposes) every single person on the faculty. Just my opinion though.Chimpionspeak (talk) 19:57, 25 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
