@Heironymous Rowe and KiwiNova: In response to the suggestion at Talk:Chato people#Requesting Merge With Chatot about rewriting this article, I have generated a list of potential sources (above) based on searchs in Google Scholar for "Chatot" and "Chacato". Many of the sources may cover minor points, and earlier ones may be the basis for later sources.
