development on "big fish" and other

Hi others, am glad to see contributions developing this article. I don't feel strongly about it, but I think sections aren't helpful in a short article, so removed them, wouldn't mind seeing them come back if others feel strongly. Also I note removal of characterization of McMillen as a "big fish in a small pond"... I had written that McMillen

was an American architect who became "a leading architect" of Wilmington, North Carolina, designing numerous large buildings in the city. He had skill to design major buildings in Richardsonian Romanesque architecture and other styles and, in prosperous Wilmington, was "something of a 'big frog in a little pond.'"

I think that characterization was helpful. The current article just says he was notable in Duluth and in Wilmington. I think the NCarchitects source explaining that he was one of many capable architects in Duluth, i.e. nothing special, vs. that he was something special and welcomed and valued in Wilmington, is very useful to note and share to readers. Is there objection to this in principle or is there objection just to the wording, of covering this? --doncram 15:34, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
