Article Creation

edit

Created after I wanted to link to it but (surpriseingly) found no article. Might have expected it under Malahide Castle article (where I seen it some time ago) but it had been wiped from that Wikipedia article without trace. So investigated where it had gone? Anyway I've created the article, possibly a little more about the relocation saga, and it seems to be a notable saga in intself and less about the railway, layout and collection itself. But the article is there for anyone to go looking for it and the article content can be improved. Please feel free to improve. I sorted the Malahide Castle article to help alyone ywho looked for it there (like I did). Again ... please feel free to re-write/improve; I'm unlikely to add too much more myself unless I can find the scale/gauge somewhere!.Djm-leighpark (talk) 15:46, 21 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Casino House

edit

Attributing Uncited info by anon. ip user on Malahide Castle on 3 February 2018. Inspired me to add a section here for the house and we may use some of it if it can be cited.

a former shooting lodge of the Talbot de Malahide family, located across from the park, near the railway station. ...{ in the meanwhile before opening }} In the interim, the lands around the house on three sides have been the subject of apartment development, while a public green space is being developed in front. Move

edit

The article has been moved to Casino Model Railway Museum. Strictly speaking the Malahide Castle Layout, although known as Fry Model Railway, was the collection of Fry Models on a new layout with new trains on display and with actual Fry Models rarely run ... they mostly needed the three rail track at his cottage I understand. I had toyed with doing this move myself but I've just had a request to do it on my talk page.Djm-leighpark (talk) 06:08, 24 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
