Stuff moved from Carrie Snodgrass

edit

There was an alternative version of this article at Carrie Snodgrass, which I have redirected here. I've moved this material over--most of it's already inthe article, but some might be worth working in. · rodii · 16:07, 14 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Birthplace

edit

Her birth city is apparently in dispute. This references states Barrington: "Carrie Snodgress." Contemporary Theatre, Film and Television, Volume 33. Gale Group, 2001. Reproduced in Biography Resource Center. Farmington Hills, Mich.: Thomson Gale. 2006. http://galenet.galegroup.com/servlet/BioRC

While I believe IMDB states Park Ridge.

So I've added all three. Wjhonson 19:07, 17 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Murphy's Law

edit

I removed the short section about the Bronson film Murphy's Law. To single it out as her most acclaimed film seems completely subjective and baseless (she was Oscar-nominated for Diary of a Mad Housewife!), and the paragraph read like an Amazon review, not an encyclopedia entry. Murphy's Law has its own page which is linked to this one, and it seems that should be sufficient. --Ondioline (talk) 22:16, 21 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Film credits should include Ed Gein (2000) in which she played Augusta Gein. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.219.162.138 (talk) 16:40, 25 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Birth year 1945 or 1946?

edit

I believe it is ambiguous what her actual year of birth is. Recently her year of birth now reads here 1945 instead of 1946, as her IMDB entry now reflects as well. WikiPro1981X (talk) 18:16, 10 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Missing Material About High-Profile Rape Accusations in late 1970s

edit

I personally remember significant media coverage of Snodgress' accusations that a group of film producers had sexually assaulted her in the late 1970s. The only link to this material is references item 5, which goes to a server error page and is a dead link. Did I just imagine Snodgress feeling obliged to hide her face from the news cameras because she had been sexually assaulted back in those dark days?70.51.82.112 (talk) 01:46, 7 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
