New Article

I started the article as a stub, for further development in article space, hopefully in conjunction with other editors. Extensive references are available. I started with just the New York Times article to immediately address any notability concerns. I was very surprised that this was not already an article. North8000 16:44, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

North8000, the unreviewed template that you removed does not imply that the subject doesn't meet notability, or that the article is deficient in any way. It merely states that no independent editor has reviewed the article. It's inappropriate for the article's creator to remove this template. However, in this case I don't want to start an edit war with you, so I will quickly review your article and call it a day. SnottyWong ^babble 19:28, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

I have reviewed the article and the only deficiencies I found is that the article has zero incoming links from other articles (see WP:ORPHAN) and the article has very few links to other articles (see WP:DEADEND). These should be fairly trivial problems to resolve. Please be sure to resolve the issues before removing the cleanup tags I added to the article. Hello Snottywong. I'd pretty much disagree with and say that there are problems with most everything you said in your first post but life's too short to go on about such things. But to clarify my one point, I wasn't implying that notability was questioned, I was implying that reviewing a brand new under-construction article for anything other than notability makes no sense. This badly needs a picture of Rutstrum

Wikipedia's "all or nothing" approach to image permissions (either get the owner to give an unrestricted licenses, including for commercial and for-profit uses, or leave out the picture) makes this very difficult.
